Daniel running on the Montrose track in Chicago.

Hi, I'm Daniel.

I’m a senior nutritional sciences student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, part-time triathlete, and (hopefully) future doctor. Welcome to my corner of the internet, a place for sharing my curiosity and fascination with the inner working of the human body.

After years of a positive energy balance lifestyle in front of the computer screen, I picked up running and movement. This developed into an interest in human physiology and metabolism which has manifested as a surgical research internship, working as a biochemistry teaching assistant, and leading physiology discussion groups among other educational activities.

Today, I am investigating the next steps toward exploring the human body as a physician. I am preparing for the MCAT exam while seeking a position in research to continue working in my field of interest during this in-between phase of my journey.
