Hi! I'm Daniel.

I’m an MD-PhD student in the Medical Scientist Training Program at Northwestern University. Welcome to my corner of the internet, a place for sharing my curiosity and projects.

After years in front of the computer screen, I picked up running and movement, quickly sparking my intersts physiology. Three marathons and a half ironman later, my journey has evolved through positions as a Clinical Research Coordinator and now physician-scientist trainee. Today, I'm excited about applying genomics techniques to understand antibiotic-resistant bacteria and supporting future generations of medical and physician-scientist trainees.

CycleTrack

CycleTrack is a free and open-source system for tracking and visualizing medical school applications while crowdsourcing data to make the application process more transparent and less stressful.

Abvember

I have helped empower daily physical activity through the yearly Abvember challenge. Each day of November, participants perform either 10 minutes of plank, 100 push-ups, or 100 sit-ups.
